How to partially download a torrent - with utorrent
similar procedure applies to other torrent clients file -> add torrent and load your torrent file hit "select none" and "ok"  with the torrent selected go to "files" tab hold down ctrl and click the files you want to download then right click the selection and pick "normal priority"  now you can partially download these files from the whole torrent only and that's all
