Did anyone know that aXXo has his own site where you can get the majority of his dvd rips.Give it a try

Came across this thread on the old google and thought I'd come here and stir this up a bit. aXXo does not have anything to do with that site. And purely out of principle, I would urge people to boycott it due to the fact that aXXo will no longer be making releases untill it closes. After hearing this from aXXo, I posted this on their forum:

whether the site stays or goes really doesn't concern me, i have the site bookmarked but never use it as my torrents are mainly obtained from mini with clarification from torrentbox Adso as a few slimey people post fakes with slotorrent.

ive just checked the site out again, it seems all links to all torrents are gone, unless i cant find them, but from my point of view it seems silly to demand that this site stops providing torrents for his movies or axxo will stop releasing
at the end of the day you release a high quality rip of a movie, then people are going to love it and you cant expect people to not want to share, anyone who even hosts a link to an axxo torrent probably makes money from it anyway when a load of people look on a particular site JUST for axxo torrents and click the adverts etc, even if it ISNT enough to cover maintenance, its still making money from it, so i dont think you can argue that they should close because they make money from it

basically yarman should respect axxo's wishes, and just change the name of the site to like www.besttorrentsonly.org.
you can get axxo torrents at any major bt website, and i listed several where he actually releases them, its not hard at all, if someone wants to create a site to index them, fine, but they should make it in tribute TO axxo, and respects AXXO's whishes. Illogical did not send the email to bluehost, another Torrentbox member did, illogical simply quoted the OP. The original post sits in the VIP section, which cannot be viewed by the general public, so was quoted on a couple of sites where this issue is being discussed. Personaly I think it was a stroke of genius. So funny.

You seem to miss the point that sites such as Mininova and Torrentbox do not solely concentrate on aXXo torrents. And if you were to do a little math you would find that aXXo's torrents are in fact a rather small minority of the torrent database. So no, these sites do ot benefit financialy from hosting his torrents. Now I do not know if it is the case with Mininova, but aXXo chose to release his torrents at Torrentbox, using the Torrentbox tracker, so anyone who thought they were smart enough to try to release a fake there was swiftly dealt with, as were users trying to pass aXXo torrents off as thier own work. This was all done with the utmost repect to the hard work done by aXXo, for the benefit of all.

Generaly it means that the user that uploaded the torrent, for what ever reason, is no longer a member, and cannot be counted on to reseed it. So the torrent is orphaned.

First I would like to thank aXXo for all the top quality releases he/they have provided. Great work.

Im a big axxo fan but it seems he has thrown his toys out of his pram over this. he knows alot of people use his work but he is willing to punish us all because of one idiot. He is still getting all the glory, he should just crack on and use his power to ask people to ignore that shitty site.

We should all thank aXXo for giving us the best DVDrips ever. He gave us the best movies and before even releasing in DVD packs at the store. aXXo creators THANK YOU where ever you are.

a person has been working behind the scene's trying to get thing's moving in the right direction and in my opinion has done a sterling job.
i would like to thank illogical for hanging in there hopefully bringing back aXXo to the mass follower's & supporter's world-wide.
